Kanye West's The Life of Pablo streamed 250 million times: Tidal

kanye still got alot of game....his life of pablo streamed over 250m times.....datz amazinggggggg.......read d details below...To celebrate Tidal’s one-year anniversary, the streaming service revealed how many times Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo had been heard since its release in February: West’s studio album was streamed 250 million times in its first 10 days,
according to the release. Tidal also said it now hosts 3 million worldwide subscribers across 46 countries.

Previously, the numbers behind Pablo had been a mystery. The album didn’t hit the Billboard 200 album chart after its release because West declined to share streaming numbers via Tidal with Nielsen Music, an industry source told EW last month. (The record racked up over 500,000 illegal downloads within a couple days of its Feb. 14 release, according to Torrent Freak.)

After being on the market for just a year, Tidal’s subscriber numbers are still behind those of their competitors: Last week, Spotify CEO announced it had 30 million paying for their service, while Apple Music floats over 11 million.ew
