Faith Evans Hints at Posthumous Notorious B.I.G. Album, Hologram Tour

Get ready BIGGY fans...he may be coming to ur city for a TOUR....i mean using a hologram of course..cause he's dead. read what faith evans said about dat...R&B singer and Notorious B.I.G.'s widow Faith Evans revealed in a new interview that a posthumous album by the rapper could arrive later this year. Evans also hinted that a B.I.G. hologram was in the works.

Evans first mentioned the posthumous The King & I, a duet LP featuring her singing alongside stray B.I.G. verses, two years ago, likening the album to the Natalie Cole album Unforgettable, which featured that singer's late father Nat King Cole. In a new interview with the Dame Dash Radio Show, Evans revealed that The King & I is in its "finishing stages," with a single due out this summer followed by the album's arrival in the fall.

"Today, if he was alive, I know, ultimately, we would've done something like this," Evans said (via Pitchfork). "But the way the stuff has come together, and the way I'm using his vocals, it's giving the stuff new life, it's totally different. So I think people are really going to enjoy it."

Evans also revealed that the Ready to Die rapper could soon be joining the fleet of deceased superstars – like Whitney Houston, Patsy Cline, Selena, Tupac Shakur, iconic comedians and many more – to be resurrected in hologram form.

"We actually are in development with a hologram [company], but I don't necessarily know to what extent I'm gonna perform with it. But I want to debut it in the first video for the album, and maybe use it a little bit performing live. But that depends on a lot of things ... It's expensive, as you can imagine."

Evans added that the B.I.G. hologram could make an appearance if "this Bad Boy tour ever really happens." "If I was to go on that tour, of course I'd use it," Evans said of the hologram. "But just not overuse it."rollingstone
