Olympic Update: Female Gymnastics Team

It's the Final Five! Simone Biles Fulfills Her Golden Destiny in Women's Team Gymnastics at Rio Olympics
The U.S. Women's Gymnastics team entered the Rio Olympic Arena as clear favorites to win the gold. The crowd roared as they entered the arena with determined looks on their faces.
So how did the favored team perform on Tuesday afternoon?
Here's a hint: Like every champion women's gymnastics squad, they've now got their own nickname: The Final Five.

The five gymnasts – Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Laurie Hernandez and Madison Kocian – showed their dominance in every category and walked away with the gold, winning by more than eight points. The Russian Federation took silver and China won bronze.

After their victory, Biles shared a simple yet powerful tweet: "Dreams DO come true"

The first rotation was vault. Biles, Hernandez and Raisman each posted scores above 15, with Biles scoring the highest, at 15.933.

During the second rotation, Biles, Douglas and Kocian performed strongly on the uneven bars, led by Kocian's 15.933. (Douglas scored a 15.766, while Biles earned a 14.800.)

The balance beam was just as strong for the U.S. women. Reisman, Biles and Hernandez all scored well. Raisman began with a 15.000, followed by Hernandez at 15.233 and Biles at 15.300. (Worth noting: Douglas standing and cheering for each gymnast as they performed.)
