This is SO sad. Courtney Stodden took to her Twitter to announce in an emotional video that she was going to shave her head to “give back” to her “angel” following her devastating miscarriage. She tearfully explained that she wanted to “step into this new chapter” in her life. Watch the heartbreaking video here and see her new look.
Our hearts are breaking for Courtney Stodden, 21, as she announced the miscarriage of her first child after she was believed to be three months pregnant. She and her husband, Doug Hutchinson, 55, broke the news in early July and Courtney has been very vocal about her feelings on Twitter. Her latest tweets include an emotional video announcing that she wanted to shave her luscious blonde locks to honor her baby.
“Hi everyone, as you all know I recently suffered a miscarriage and it’s had a huge impact on me emotionally,” she said in the 57-second video. “I’ve been thinking and I have decided that I want to give back to my angel with a symbolic gesture. And, that to me, is shaving my hair off, because I want to step into this new chapter into my life fresh and new.”Right after, she posted this photo with the caption, “New Chapter,” where she posed in a leopard bikini, holding a drink. She wore a matching headband around her freshly shaved head as she puckered up to the camera with a fierce red lip.Courtney posted a second photo where she is seen laying on a leopard bed or blanket in the same attire. She’s posed seductively while holding an old school telephone. “Free feline,” was her caption for this shot with multiple hashtags pointing out her shaved head and we’re assuming her photographer? But she did not make that clear. We have to say, we’re loving her beautiful, new look!Courtney took to Twitter August 8 after she shaved off all of her hair to confirm it herself, once again. She tweeted, “yes my head is shaved and I feel free.” The couple was spotted for the first time following her miscarriage, July 25 when they were seen leaving a medical center. The 21-year-old put on a brave face as she looked like she was fighting back tears.
She has been very informative about her feelings on Twitter following the news. Courtney’s posted a series of sad tweets and even posted a lengthy poem to her “precious angel” calling her baby her “guardian angel” as she described the things she will not get to do. So sad. Our thoughts are with she and her husband at this time, as well as their family and friends.
