In short, she was everywhere. But did anyone really expect they could make a joke about her ubiquity before Schumer and co. did?
Says executive producer Dan Powell, “We do touch a little bit on Amy’s higher profile – it would be weird not to. After the year she’s had? We wanted to acknowledge it.” He laughs. “But also make fun of it.” We wouldn’t have it any other way.
