It’s been a rough year for Kristin Cavallari. Just weeks after the death of her older brother, the former reality star was in a car crash near her home in Chicago on Jan. 21…and she was taken the hospital to get checked out after the collision!
Luckily, the Laguna Beach smostly unharmed after the accident, according to TMZ. She was taken to the hospital after another driver struck her vehicle, but hasn’t suffered any serious injuries aside from a dislocated elbow. And, even better news — her three, young kids were not in the car when the crash went down. Her hunky husband, Jay Cutler, also wasn’t there, but he reportedly showed up to the hospital to be with his wife shortly after she was admitted.
The accident comes just a few weeks after her brother, Michael, was reported missing after his car was found abandoned on the side of a highway in Utah. Sadly, Michael was tragically found dead on Dec. 10, and Kristin was totally (understandably) distraught over it. “My heart is in a million pieces,” she wrote on Instagram. “Mikey, I could always count on you to make me laugh. You had such a good heart and will be forever missed. I’m at a loss for words but I know u are in a better place and finally at peace. I love u so much RIP.”Hollywoodlife
