Oh no! Diafra Sakho, a player for the Premier League soccer team, West Ham United, reportedly wrecked his Lamborghini after losing control of the sports car on Jan. 17. The Lambo and the garden wall Diafra crashed into were both demolished but did he come out okay?
There’s no way to accuse Diafra Sakho, 26, of flopping this one, not after seeing the pictures of his car. The West Ham F.C. striker suffered more than just a penalty after he allegedly drove his luxury sports vehicle into an English garden! That’s a red card, for sure.
Diafra reportedly lost control of his Lamborghini after sideswiping a Mini-Cooper on Jan. 17, according to TMZ. The West Ham F.C. star smashed the Lambo into the garden of a home in Hornchurch, Essex around 9 p.m., local time. While Diafra’s car, reportedly worth £200,000, was practically ruined, he came out of the crash alive.
Sophie Engstrom wasn’t terribly pleased when she tweeted “Great night when Sakho drives into your house & car,” according to Yahoo Sports UK. She also took pictures of the soccer star standing by the wreckage, after his impromptu game of bumper cars. Diafra was in good spirits about the accident, uploading a message to his Snapchat: “Sorry for the scare guys, I’m ok, thank God.”
“At around nine o’clock last night we heard it going up the road, it was unmistakable – it’s a racing car isn’t it?” a homeowner told local media outlets, per TMZ. “We heard it accelerate and then just heard a big bang, like an explosion and a thud — that’s when I walked out. Lucky there was no one about. Lucky no one was hurt.”hollywoodlife
