Celine Dion has broken her silence in the wake of her husband René Angelil’s death to thank fans for their “outpouring of love and support.”
Angelil, 73, passed on January 14, 2016 after a lengthy battle with throat cancer.
ABC News reports:
“My family and I are deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support from so many people who have touched our lives during these past few days,” the singer wrote in a statement on her website.“We have felt your love for René, and your prayers and compassion have helped us during this most difficult time…more than you’ll ever know. I thank you from the bottom of my heart,” the statement continued.celebuzz
