Former ‘SNL’ Cast Member Colin Quinn Called Tina Fey ‘The C-Word’

30 Rock fans may remember the season one episode in which Tina Fey’s television alter ego, Liz Lemon, reacts vehemently to being called “the c-word” by one of her writers.

Fey has long-since admitted that the episode was inspired by true events, but only recently revealed that it was Colin Quinn who did it.

The 45-year-old former head writer for Saturday Night Live shared this story on The Howard Stern Show while on a promotional tour for her new comedy, Sisters. As Tina explains it:

I love him so much. I was trying to help him with a show that he was working on, and I think his anxiety about the writing of the show spilled over. It was very random. I was like, ‘What?!’ He left me a message and he said that.
However, both Tina and Colin clarify that they have since made amends, with Quinn apologizing for his use of the misogynist slur.celebuzz
