See her touching performance here!
Our hearts go out to Celine Dion. The 47-year-old songstress took a break from tending to her ailing husband René Angélil, 73, who is currently battling throat cancer, to perform at the Sinatra 100: All-Star Grammy Concert in Las Vegas on Dec. 2. Despite trying to make the most of her time left with her long-time love, Celine took to the stage where she belted out an incredibly touching rendition of Frank Sinatra‘s hit “All The Way.” Prepare to be moved to tears.
Though suffering from the heartbreak of knowing that this may likely be her last Christmas together with her husband, Celine didn’t hold back during her performance at the celebrity-packed tribute concert at the Wynn Las Vegas. Taking to the stage in a sultry asymmetric black gown, the Canadian singer belted out a heartfelt version of Sinatra’s “All The Way” — a song that was as much a tribute to the legendary Rat Pack singer as it was to her beloved husband, as it was originally their wedding song. Needless to say, her performance was beautiful and heartbreaking all at once.
The epic performance comes just on the heels of her long-awaited return to her Las Vegas residency at Caesar’s Palace in September. After taking a year off to tend to her husband, Celine returned to a packed house, where she gave her fans personal glimpses into her private life with her husband and three children, Rene-Charles, 14 and twins Nelson and Eddy, 4. As images of Rene and her children popped up on the screen behind her, Celine started singing a breathtaking rendition of “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.” The video showed footage of her kids playing and having a great time, but it’s the three shots of Rene that moved the audience to erupt in thunderous applause.hollywoodlife
