Jennifer Lawrence, 'Hunger Games' co-stars put handprints in cement (photos)

"LOS ANGELES -- "Hunger Games" cast members Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson have officially left their imprint on Hollywood.

The actors left impressions in cement Saturday at a handprint and footprint ceremony that took place at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.


The ceremony had a rocky start, though, when TCL Chinese Theater President Alwyn Hight Kushner referred to Lawrence's character as Katniss Evergreen, rather than Everdeen, according to Variety.

Lawrence told the cheering crowd: "We are very grateful, I think I can say that on behalf of everyone here for the Hunger Games. I can't remember your names, I'm just kidding, I know everybody," BT.com reported.

People magazine reported that Lawrence was especially diligent about making sure her signature she added wasn't messed up.

"This is going in cement," Lawrence said to photographers screaming for her attention. "It's permanent! I don't want to make a mistake by looking up!"

The ceremony was timed to help promote the fourth and final installment of the film franchise: "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2," due in theaters Nov. 20.AP
