It’s no news that the Nigerian entertainment industry is
often referred to as the Hollywood of Africa, with
international recognition from various quarters. This piece is in
furtherance of this popular notion, as it seeks to recognize some of the
most stylish male celebrities around here.
Our list of stylish celebrities here cuts across the music and movie
industry in Nigeria, but the common feature is in the suave nature of
these men. We can all disagree on a lot of things, but not in the fact
of these guys being absolute style icons, well, as far as 2015 is
concerned.
In addition; most, if not all of these men are brand figures which
explains that their public image has been another key factor that helped
in compiling this.
Another factor we considered is their ability to light up the red
carpets, their strong blend of traditional attires as well as the
overall swanky air around them.
Without any fuss, here’s our list of top 10 most debonair celebrities for 2015 so far.
1. Banky W
Bankole Wellington is the man for the cameras any day, anytime. He is
fresh, smooth and articulate. He is unmistakably number one on this
list for many other obvious reasons. He sits atop the affairs at Empire
Mates Entertainment (EME). He also directs videos, the most recent being the visuals for his High Notes single which was shot in South Africa.
2. D’banj
Dapo Oyebanjo needs no introduction in the African entertainment
space. He has been prominent in the music industry for the last one
decade. In spite of his split with erstwhile partner, Don Jazzy, the Oliver Twist singer has had a great run nonetheless.
3. IK Ogbonna
The model/ actor is married to Columbian beauty, Sonia Morales. He is
third on our list of stylish men for his charm and confidence.

4. Lynxxx
Syndik8 Records boss, Chukie Edozien more popularly known as Lynxxx, is a hip hop artiste with a number of hits to his name.
Beyond music, he has various other entrepreneurial involvements here and there. He talks a bit about it his plans to build an empire here.
5. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu
Uchendu shot into limelight after an appearance on Big Brother
Nigeria in 2006 and hasn’t left the radar ever since. He is a TV host
and compere, in addition to his professional qualifications in
intellectual property law.

6. Peter Okoye
One half of the duo of P Square, Peter, is many ladies’ dream guy. He
is married to Lola Omotayo, and the pair has been together since 2013.
Peter and Paul who started out in 2001 have made wonderful music and
performed around the world. In contrast to many speculations of their
break up, the brothers are still together and making music.
7. Emmanuel Ikubese
Former Mr. Nigeria, Ikubese, needs no introduction in social
gatherings. He is a brand ambassador, model and actor. He was also part
of the first season of the famed MTV series, Shuga.

8. Don Jazzy
The Mavins boss, born Michael Collins Ajereh, is best defined as the fusion of Dre and Timberland in the Nigerian music space.
He has numerous hits and awards to show for his abilities. His style
game is also topnotch which explains why he is in this list.
