Beyoncé may still be close with Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, but don’t expect the three of them to be making music together in the near future.
According to Rowland, a reunion still isn’t on the table because they just, well, like being independent women. (So throw your hands up at her!)
“We haven’t even talked anything about that,” the singer tells E! News. “We’ve just been enjoying each other’s company and love and enjoying being women
Though Destiny’s Child may not be reuniting professionally, Rowland insists that the three of them are in contact with each other. Before getting ready with Williams for the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards on Monday night (Oct. 24, 2016), Rowland reveals she actually had dinner with Beyoncé over the weekend.
“They often look at us sideways, like, ‘Are we really seeing this?'” she says of onlookers needing a double-take whenever they get together. “It’s really cute.”
Last month, Rowland attended Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour when it stopped in Los Angeles, where the “Hold Up” songstress gave a shoutout to her friend onstage before launching into a medley of Destiny’s Child songs.
