Samantha Bee 'apologizes' for Eric Trump tweet about workplace harassment

Samantha Bee posted a tweet mocking Eric Trump’s statements on workplace sexual harassment, and now, she’s apologized — sort of.During a Tuesday appearance on CBS This Morning, the second-oldest son of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was asked about the Roger Ailes sexual
harassment allegations at Fox News. He defended his father’s comments to USA Today about how he would expect his daughter, Ivanka, to react if she were sexually harassed in the workplace. “I would like to think she would find another career or find another company if that was the case,” Donald Trump told the newspaper.

“I think what he’s saying is, Ivanka is a strong, powerful woman, she wouldn’t allow herself to be objected to it,” Eric Trump said, after disavowing workplace harassment in general. “And by the way, you should take it up with Human Resources, and I think she would as a strong person, at the same time, I don’t think she would allow herself to be subjected to that. I think that’s a point he was making, and I think he did so well.”
