Meghan McCain is not happy with Donald Trump. The daughter of Arizona Sen. John McCain fired back at Trump following his response to the emotional speech given by the father of a fallen Muslim U.S. Army soldier at the Democratic National Convention this week. Khizr Khan addressed Trump directly in his Thursday speech at the DNC, challenging the Republican presidential nominee's proposed ban on Muslim immigrants to the U.S.
"Have you ever been to Arlington Cemetery? Go look at the graves of brave patriots who died defending the United States of America. You will see all faiths, genders and ethnicities," Khan said. "You have sacrificed nothing and no one." The GOP nominee told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos on Saturday that he has "made a lot of sacrifices," before taking a jab at Khan's wife.
"If you look at his wife, she was standing there," Trump said. "She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say. You tell me."
McCain wrote on Twitter, "I would ask what kind of barbarian would attack the parents of a fallen soldier, but oh yeah it's the same person who attacks POW's."

Trump has previously questioned John McCain's status as a war hero.
"I like people who weren’t captured," Trump said last summer about the senator, who was a POW during the Vietnam War.
In a Medium post published Thursday, Caroline McCain, the granddaughter of John McCain, announced she would be voting for Hillary Clinton because of Trump's inflammatory statements about her grandfather.
McCain had previously told PEOPLE that she cried when Trump was officially named the Republican nominee for president.
"It's really hard," says McCain, a Fox News analyst who also hosts a three-hour, daily radio talk show, America Now, on iHeartRadio. "I understand the voters have spoken. I understand that he's had more votes than any other candidate – but this is an incredibly polarizing election. 60 percent of Republicans want another candidate. This is not the vision for America I have."
McCain, who said she'll be writing in a candidate come election day, added: "This is a garbage election with two garbage candidates and America deserves a lot better than this."
