Khloe, 32, has continued to stand by Lamar’s side after he almost died following an overdose in Oct. 2015. She reached her breaking point on the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. When Khloe finds out that Lamar, 36, is hanging out with the wrong crowd again, she thinks that “nothing’s going to wake him up.”
“I thought he was really going to change,” she says in the episode. “But this is Lamar.” She confronts him about spending time with “bad guys” and warns him that going down this dark path could leave him dead. “I told him how erratic I think he was acting,” she tells Kim, 35, and Kourtney, 37.
Kim tells Khloe that she’s willing to go talk to Lamar or have Kanye, 39, do it. “Why do I treat him better than I treat myself?” Khloe laments. “Maybe you shouldn’t put so much energy into it,” Kim advises Khloe. Kim has a good point. Khloe has gone above and beyond for Lamar, and it’s time for Khloe to start putting herself first.
The whole Lamar situation just really upsets Khloe, especially since he’s gotten a second chance at life. “It is disappointing,” she says to her sisters.
Later, Kim and Kourtney talk about that Khloe/Lamar drama. Kim believes that Khloe thought taking care of Lamar after his overdose and being by his side would repair their marriage. Kourtney shuts Kim’s theory down. Kourtney thinks there’s no way Khloe would ever reunite with Lamar and have kids with him. “It’s not the situation she wants,” Kourtney says to Kim. Khloe will always care about Lamar, but their marriage truly is over.
