BEYONCE: TV Network in the Works?

Is Beyonce planning a TV takeover?A British tabloid claims that Queen Bey is planning on following in Oprah’s footsteps — and starting her own television network. The Sunsays it would be different from Winfrey’s in that it would take an educational focus. The paper notes that Beyonce replaced her management team earlier this year as a possible prelude to doing something big in a new industry.


If it happens, it won't be on the air anytime soon. Theories about the network have it coming online years from now, with a slate of programming around education and documentaries about African and American history.

Jay Z could use his experience running Tidal to help run and program the network.
If nothing else, it would make for a good home for Michelle Williams' reality competition Chasing Destiny.
