According to TMZ, he is refusing to sign off on his divorce from the singer. Despite being the one who originally filed court documents to end the couple’s marriage in December 2014, sources tell the website that Carey has been trying to get Cannon to sign papers for “nearly a year,” but he won’t do it.
The America’s Got Talent host has yet to comment, but his hesitation is upsetting the diva, who is currently in the process of planning her wedding to fiancé James Packer.
The exes have remained close, reuniting for the sake of their five-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan on holidays. However, is he hoping for a reconciliation? Sources also say that he still loves the mother of his children romantically and doesn’t want to let her go.
One thing is for sure: Carey will not let Cannon get in the way of her huge wedding
