Kate Upton won’t let a little rip ruin her birthday! The Sports Illustrated beauty wore a daringly sheer dress to her 24th birthday bash in NYC on June 8,
which gave partygoers a peek at her perky butt. During the celebration, Kate’s see-through gown tore a hole in possibly one of the most embarrassing spots possible…but Kate totally owned it!
Kate’s floor-length dress was completely sheer from head to toe, only covered with a funky star and polka dot pattern. The model sported a strapless black bodysuit underneath the chiffon frock, making for a sexy-yet-classy getup. When Kate turned around, though, suddenly the bodysuit turned racy because it completely bared her butt cheeks! Of course it was hard to look away from her booty, but it was even harder to look away because of the giant hole that had ripped right next to Kate’s butt crack! Oh dear!
Despite the rather humiliating tear, Kate hardly even seemed phased by her wardrobe malfunction. In fact, she even played it up! Kate turned her backside to the camera as if she wanted them to get a shot of her dress’ tear and completely laughed the whole thing off. Now that’s a way to handle an embarrassing situation!
Perhaps Kate was so happily carefree because she her love life is fantastic. Her longtime beau, Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander, popped the question just before Kate attended the Met Ball on May 2, where she revealed their engagement (and her huge rock!). Justin was right by Kate’s side as she posed in her sheer dress, so we wouldn’t doubt it if he’s the reason she decided to flaunt the hole instead of hide it!
