You want to become an eco-entrepreneur and find solutions for one of the main challenges in Kenya: Sustainable Agriculture, Manufacturing and Tourism? You want to receive support to turn your idea into reality? Apply now for the SAG-SEED Starter Months 2016 in Nairobi, Kenya! Deadline: 25 April: www.seed.uno/support/starter SAG-SEED Starter .
The newly developed SAG-SEED Starter promotes the incubation of new eco-enterprises. Setting up a business is both an exciting and challenging adventure.
What is the SAG-SEED Starter?
The SAG-SEED Starter Months are tailored to the needs of teams who are keen to set up a new eco-enterprise and develop entrepreneurial solutions to three key challenges in your country: Sustainable Agriculture, Manufacturing and Sustainable Tourism.
Why are we doing this?
This programme funded by Switch Africa Green (SAG) gives future entrepreneurs the time to form a team and strategically develop an initial business idea. We believe that efforts like this will give local teams the tools to shape the future of the country, create labour and manage the country’s resources wisely.
How does it work?
A number of selected teams will come together during two workshops in Nairobi (11-13 May and 9-10 June, 2016) to develop and refine these business ideas. The period between the two workshops will be used for facilitated testing of the idea with potential customers and partners.
The deadline for applications is 25 April, 2016. The Application Form and the Application Toolkit (with tips to complete the form) can be found online at www.seed.uno/support/starter, for more information see the attached Call for Applications.
