As previously reported, Carver County Sheriff Jim Olson confirmed to Us Weekly that sheriff’s deputies responded to a medical call at 9:43 a.m. When deputies and medical personnel arrived, they found an unresponsive adult male in the elevator. Responders provided CPR but were unable to revive the seven-time Grammy winner.
Jason Kamerud, Carver County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy, released the transcript of the 911 call placed Thursday morning from Prince’s studio.
In the transcript obtained by Us, an unidentified male tells dispatcher Emily Colestock “we need an ambulance right now. … We have someone who is unconscious,” before revealing that it was Prince.
When asked their location, the male responded, “Um, we’re at Prince’s house,” before looking around for the street address.
“The person is dead here,” the unidentified male told the operator, adding that “the people are just distraught.”
The caller was unable to inform Colestock how Prince died, telling them: “I don’t know. I don’t know.”usmagazine, youtube
