"We're in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change," Jackson said in the clip. "I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family. So I'm going to have to delay the tour."
Jackson continued, "Please, if you can try and understand it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor's orders. I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."
TheUnbreakable tour began last year in Vancouver – marking Jackson's first time on the road in four years. She initially delayed the 2016 portion of her performances in December, noting that she had to undergo surgery for an unspecified reason. She later clarified on Twitter that she did not have cancer, and had been given a clean bill of health. In Wednesday's video, Jackson also expressed gratitude toward her fans for coming to her show, noting, "you so much, you guys made it so enjoyable for me each and every night."
"Thank you to all the fans for your love, your undying love, your loyalty, that means so much to me," Jackson said. "You are truly appreciated and it's been a long journey, and you guys have been there each and every step of the way."
Jackson and the Qatari businessman were married in 2012 in a private ceremony.
