Feel free to call me childish, but one of my favorite Spring pastimes is dyeing and decorating Easter eggs. There's something so soothing about the ritual: blending the perfect shades, creating ombré patterns, and using that magical crayon that reveals invisible ink designs on the egg post-color.
I noticed there are a lot of similarities between this and DIY manicures. While I'm not highly skilled at nail art, I enjoy sifting through all my lacquers to find the ideal hue to match my mood, carefully brushing on each coat, and patiently waiting for the finished product to dry. It's mechanical yet creative — a wonderful balance of the left and right brain!
It appears that plenty of my fellow Instagrammers feel the same about both activities, as they've combined them into one fantastic result: easter egg nail art. From hatching chicks to polka dots and zigzags, there's something here for every level of talon talent. See for yourself.
