Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez joins Vin Diesel in xXx 3

Miss Colombia is ready for her close-up.Ariadna Gutiérrez, the 22-year-old beauty queen known for being mistakenly crowned Miss Universe by Steve Harvey last year, will make her film debut in xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage, People has confirmed.


Gutiérrez is to play Vin Diesel’s love interest in the extreme-themed spy flick, which also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Donnie Yen, Deepika Padukone, Nina Dobrev, and Ruby Rose. The story finds Diesel’s title character coming out of self-imposed exile to taken down an alpha warrior with a deadly weapon known as Pandora’s Box.

D.J. Caruso (I Am Number Four) is directing xXx 3, which is currently in production. Paramount Pictures will release the film Jan. 20, 2017.
