Following his immensely successful 2015 and the end of his "Welcome to the Zoo" tour, which wrapped on March 25th, Fetty Wap is now reflecting on his success with his latest release, "Zoovie Zoo."
The clubby song has Wap discussing his success and the big changes in his life that have come from the string of Top 40 hits he released prior to debuting his album. "Now I'm upcoming/Big Bank Wap/My money flowin,'" he raps after recalling the time in his life when he was broke.
The rapper also references his biggest hit — the sleeper breakthrough "Trap Queen" — and the unique sing-rap that set him apart. "Them hoes was like, 'He singing this shit'/'Or is it Auto-Tune or is he really singing this shit?'"
Just like "Instant Friend" from earlier this month, Wap dropped "Zoovie Zoo" on SoundCloud. Neither song is an official single, but aligns with a series of releases from his Remy Boys crew. The New Jersey rapper teased the track earlier this month by tweeting "Don't Sleep on Zoovie Zoo … this rookie not playin."
