David Hasselhoff Returning to the ‘Baywatch’ Beach to Star in the Movie Version

It’s no secret that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been hard at work filming scenes with co-star Zac Efron on the set of the new Baywatch movie.


But now, fans of the hit TV series can rejoice at the fact that the star of the original series has now been added to the cast—David Hasselhoff.
Johnson posted a video on his Instagram to officially announce that Hasselhoff would be dusting off his red lifeguard shorts and rescue buoy to join the cast of the film.

During a Facetime session, David assures a cheerful Dwayne, “I was born ready.”
