When Are The Grammys & 4 More Things You Need To Know

Music’s biggest night is almost here! The 58th Grammy Awards take place Feb. 15, and music lovers everywhere are gearing up for incredible performances and appearances from the industry’s biggest names. Don’t know everything about the show just yet? Get the facts below!

No matter what kind of music you’re into, it’s hard not to get excited for the Grammys. This year’s ceremony could potentially be the biggest ever in the show’s 58-year history, as Taylor Swift, Adele, and Rihanna are just three of the superstars who will take the stage. As you prep for your big Grammy watch party, find out when to tune in and everything you need to know about the Feb. 15 show!

The official show starts at 8 p.m. EST sharp. There are two ways this year’s broadcast is different than previous years: It’s the first time the Grammys will take place on a Monday, and it will not have a tape delay for western time zones. So everyone will be tuning in at the same time nationwide!

Where is the ceremony being held?

The Grammys will be broadcast live from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. When it’s not hosting the biggest night in music, the arena is home to the Lakers and Clippers, as well as the city’s WNBA team, the Sparks, and NHL team, the Kings.

Who is the host for the night?

LL Cool J will be playing emcee for the fifth consecutive year. Clearly he loves the gig as much as viewers and show runners love him!

Will there be a live stream of the show?

Sure will — and a broadcast of the red carpet too! But there’s a little bit of a catch: You have to have an account with CBS All Access. The good news is, you can watch the Grammys by starting a free one-week trial! This monthly subscription service isn’t available in all markets, though, but you can see if you have access here.

Which musicians will be there?

Um, the better question is, who isn’t going to be there! When it comes to who will take the stage to perform, Taylor, Adele, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, and Carrie Underwood are just a handful of the huge names. Adding to the incredible lineup are the presenters, which include Sam Smith, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Ryan Seacrest, Anna Kendrick and many more. And we haven’t even mentioned all of the nominees! Needless to say, we’re set for one amazing night!

Will you be watching this year’s Grammys, HollywoodLifers? Who are you most excited to see perform? Who do you want to win? Tell us below!hollywoodlife
