Prepare Yourselves, No-Maj, and Go Behind the Scenes of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
Did you miss the SAG Awards? Well, it was probably because you were watching the new, behind-the-scenes featurette of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, so we don't blame you.

Harry Potter fans were given quite the gift Saturday when a video was released online that featured Eddie Redmayne, his co-stars and director David Yates in action while filming the highly anticipated prequel. "It's just unlike anything I've ever been a part of," Redmayne, who plays lead character Newt Scamander, says in the video. "It's like imagination taken to the extreme."
The clip, which shows brief scenes from the film, also gives a brief glimpse of Colin Farrell in costume as an auror named Graves, who serves as the right-hand man to the president of the American wizarding world. Harry Potter author J.K.Rowling penned the script, which also happens to be her very first screenplay. But unlike the HP series, Fantastic Beasts actually takes place in New York in 1926.
Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Dan Fogler—the actors who round out the four central characters—also appear in the footage and explain in a little more detail how they'll play into the plot, which follows Newt after some of his magical beasts escape from their case and wreak havoc on New York City.

"All four central characters are outsiders," explains producer David Heyman. "Part of the journey of this for each of them is coming into themselves."
The first teaser trailer hit the Internet in December and showed Newt realizing how wiz-phobic the U.S. is. While he might be fearful of the No-Maj (remember, Muggle is a British term), it's Redmayne who is really nervous about the launch of the franchise.
"The stakes are high because they were so good before," Redmayne told E! News. "You don't want to screw it up."
The first installment of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trilogy hits theaters Nov. 18, 2016.eonline
