Marshawn Lynch Appears to Retire Mid-Super Bowl

Marshawn Lynch appears to have left beast mode. Just hours after rumors surfaced that the Seattle Seahawks running back had told sources close to him that he intended to retire, Lynch looked to announce as much on his Twitter Sunday evening during the Super Bowl.

According to reports, people close to Lynch attempted to talk him out of the decision, but during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl 50, the charismatic running back tweeted a picture of his cleats hanging out up on a stretch of line.

Lynch arrived in Seattle in 2010 from Buffalo. He's rushed for 9,112 career yards, which has placed him 36th overall on the all-time list. Since 2011, Lynch has led the league in rushing touchdowns (51) and placed within the top three in carries and rushing yards.people
