RELATED: 23 super-harsh reviews for Adam Sandler's Pixels
Sure, it's funny to mock some of the flicks that won't be award show fodder this year.
They're not going to show Dakota Johnson saying "anal beads" aloud in Fifty Shades during the Oscars highlights reel.
But you know what? That movie was so fun to see with our girl friends for a fun ladies night.
Let's take a moment to recognize the redeemable qualities of some of this year's Razzie nominees.

Fifty Shades may be one of the top Razzie contenders this year, but may we please remind you that for the price of one movie ticket, we got to see Jamie Dornan nearly naked on the big screen?
This film had it all: abs, a super-sexy soundtrack, and our sexual fantasies finally realized outside of a book series. Our dreams came... to life. And it was wonderful.
Again, we got to see Dornan doing it in multiple locations and with multiple props. That does not happen in The Revenant. (Thank goodness.)

"Some alien life force has sent real-life video games to attack us."
That is the plot of Pixels, and honestly, that's one badass movie idea.
Some critics questioned the goofiness of the film, but watching a giant Pac-Man destroy a city block while people battle it is awesome.
This movie is filled with arcade nostalgia, and the 11-year-old versions of us think it's a silly, guilty pleasure.

Jupiter Ascending is all of our favorite stars as weird, space people.
Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne as a swole space villain, Channing Tatum with a blonde goatee and elf ears, Mila Kunis as herself but, like, in black leather sometimes.
This movie is like The Fifth Element but with more alien orgies and eggs harvesting.
Critics can be quick to jump on original sci-fi movies that really go for it, but this movie presents an interesting, creative universe.
We can have alien movies that don't involve Marvel heroes sometimes, people.

Like comedic giants before him, Pink Panther's Peter Sellers and Naked Gun's Leslie Nielsen, Kevin James is willing to do what it takes to earn those slapstick laughs.
The actor, who also stars in the Razzie-nominated Pixels, doesn't hold back on physical comedy in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.
We're talking Segway stunts, getting hit by a car, fighting a bird.
We admire how he throws himself (literally) into these situations, just for our amusement.
Who does that in The Big Short? Who does that in The Danish Girl?
Thank you, Kevin James, for your fearless commitment to your craft.
Since Oscar nominations haven't been announced just yet, there's still hope.Eonline
