Retired Olympic gold medalist Picabo Street has been arrested in Park City, Utah on suspicion of misdemeanor assault and domestic violence in the presence of a child after an alleged physical confrontation with her father, Roland Street, E! News has confirmed.

The incident reportedly took place at her home in late December. The 44-year-old alpine ski racer has pleaded not guilty to the charges, while no charges had been filed against her dad as of Wednesday, The Salt Lake City Tribune reported. The Summit County sheriff's office released a mug shot of Picabo.
According to the arrest affidavit, Roland, 76, says he was attempting to leave Picabo's home and "bumped his car into the house" in the process, which angered Picabo, who started to yell at him. He said the two re-entered the house and that their confrontation turned physical.

He said Picabo grabbed his neck and shoulder and then pushed him down two flights of stairs, where he may have hit his head. Investigators say Roland, 76, suffered cuts on his elbow and neck.
Picabo told police she pushed her father down the stairs and locked him in the basement before she called the authorities and added that her father pulled her hair. Both individuals said the fight happened in the presence of Picabo's three children, the affidavit states.
Picabo, who won a gold medal at the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics and last competed in the 2002 Winter Olympics near Salt Lake City, was charged with one count of assault and three counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, which are all misdemeanors, the outlets reported. Each charge is punishable by a maximum of six months in jail, The Salt Lake City Tribune said.
She and her father have not commented. Picabo is due in court on Feb. 16.eonline
