Miley Cyrus is slated to star in her first TV show since leaving behind Hannah Montana in 2011.
Deadline first reported the exciting news that Allen, the lauded director and the show’s creator, has cast the principal actors and is preparing for production.
The show will reportedly be six half-hour episodes starring Miley and actress Elaine May. Also, the show will apparently take place in the sixties; it begins shooting in March.
Fans of the Disney Channel show that made Miley a household name, be warned, this new acting turn likely won’t resemble her perky, singing alter ego.
