Newly engaged actor Ryan Phillippe and his fiancé Paulina Slagter rang in the new year at the white and gold themed Five Star New Years Eve event on Watson Island in Miami.

Paulina showed off her very feminine D-flawless diamond engagement ring at the event. When asked about the proposal, Ryan commented that he picked the ring as it was a perfect representation of Paulina’s personality and Paulina gushed that it all came as a huge surprise.
