The singer, 66, has recently talked about his desire to work with the record-breaking Brit singer after she wraps up promotion on her new album.
"She has her hands full as she needs to promote my song – sorry, her song – 'Hello,'" he said on ITV's talk show Lorraine. "I don't own the word 'Hello' so she got away with that!" he joked.
"She's a songwriter and I'd love to be able to get in a room and just play," he says. "Don't put any pressure on her but every time you see her just say, 'Hello Adele, what about Lionel?'"People
