A group of Melbourne brothers who released a 'public bomb scare' video this week have come under fire with people calling the prank insensitive and dangerous.
The trio - known online as the Jalals - posted the footage to their Facebook page showing a man dressed in a thawb running past apparently unsuspecting members of the public and dropping a bag next to them.
Since it was uploaded on Wednesday night it has been viewed almost three million times, but the response has not been overwhelmingly positive.
'This is not FUNNY, not even for a second. It's careless, thoughtless,' Joanne Rivera posted.
'With all that's happening with ISIS, attacks throughout the USA, out of the USA, this should not be a laughing matter,' she wrote.
'Can't wait to see one when the idiot gets jumped and beaten to death by the people he's scaring,' Adam Milne said. He compared it to real terrorism saying' fake bomb or not you are still instilling fear in people'.
However this has appeared not to deter the brothers, who have promised there is a second installment of the video still to come.youtube
