Gigi Hadid is baring it all.The 20-year-old gets naked for Stuart Weitzman’s new campaign,
posing alongside Lily Aldridge and Joan Smalls wearing nothing but the brand’s heeled sandals. Though having your vagina that close to someone for work might be a little awkward, the models apparently are totally cool with the concept because they’re such close BFFs.
“The fact that the girls are friends made them the ideal casting choice for the campaign, as Stuart Weitzman has always been a common thread in bringing girlfriends together, from shoe shopping to shoe sharing to shoe closet envy,” the brand says in the press release.
While Hadid may be surrounded by supportive friends in her latest modeling gig, word has it that her some of her pals don’t approve of her new relationship with Zayn Malik.
“Her friends do not quite understand what the attraction is,” a source tells E! News about Hadid’s romance with the former One Direction singer. “He is not her usual type, he doesn’t share her sense of humor or ease with people [and] he’s a little more self-aware and awkward.”
“[She] could date anyone she wants,” one insider says of Hadid, whose ex-boyfriends include Cody Simpson and Joe Jonas.
Despite what haters are saying, the model seems to be sticking to her guns (and by Malik’s side).
Soon after she was photographed holding hands with the 22-year-old and was unfollowed by former beau Jonas, Hadid took to Twitter to defend her blossoming relationship by telling critics that “there’s just no need to be judgmental about situations that are not your own.”
“Sometimes life just happens,” she wrote in a now-deleted tweet. “For whatever reason in whatever timing. And sometimes it doesn’t make sense til it does. That’s it.”celebuzz
