CRISTIANO RONALDO spent a whopping $2 million hosting a party for close friends in Morocco, it has been claimed.

The Sun reports that the Real Madrid superstar held the private shindig in the seaside town of Agadir, according to Portuguese magazine Flash.

Another unnamed Real player was apparently also at the bash, which is also said to have included scores of scantily clad dancers.

Last week a French television show claimed Ronaldo was enjoying a gay relationship with Moroccan kickboxer Badr Hari.

The pair are good friends and have posed for several pictures together.

The unfounded claims were made despite Ronaldo being linked with a number of beauties throughout his career.Ronaldo admitted this week his form has suffered because of personal problems — though he dazzled in midweek scoring four goals as the Spanish giants thrashed Malmo 8-0.

Ronaldo’s future in Spain has been up for speculation recently, with some reports suggesting he could be set for a move back to Manchester United.

The Premier League club are in the market for a big-name signing and Ronaldo is one of three players said to be on their radar, along with Real teammate Gareth Bale and Barcelona superstar Neymar.

United failed in a summer bid to tempt the Brazilian international to Old Trafford but they have still not given up hope of taking him to the northwest.

Bale is another player they have been looking at, but Real gave them a cool response when they inquired after him last summer.Ronaldo’s own future has been put in doubt amid suggestions he is unhappy with the style of management of Rafa Benitez.

The former Liverpool boss is not a big favourite at the Bernabeu and his tactics are believed to have upset some players.

And Ronaldo admits he misses working with former manager Carlo Ancelotti — the man Benitewz replaced last summer.

The Italian has remained out of work since, despite being linked with a return to the Santiago Bernabeu as well as Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

Ronaldo says he enjoyed his time under Ancelotti and hopes their paths cross again at some point.

He told ESPN: “Mr. Ancelotti was an unbelievable surprise. In the beginning I thought he was more a tough person, kind of arrogant, and it was the opposite.

“He’s like a big bear. He’s a cute guy, such a sensitive person. He spoke with us every day. Not just with me but with all the players. He had fun with us.”foxsports
