Wednesday night was the Country Music Awards, which honestly should have been called "Blake Shelton Drama Fest '15," because that's all
most people cared about. Would Blake bring Gwen Stefani to the show?" we all wondered before the awards began. Would he interact with Miranda Lambert? Would they do anything weird? Would they reunite and make us believe in love again? Of course, none of that ended up happening, and instead what we have is this sweet little thing that Miranda posted on her Facebook page last night:
It might be relevant to mention that she posted this along with a photo of her with a horse, but while that's adorable and all, it just doesn't match the beauty of Miranda's attitude here. Think of how much press she could get by saying anything at all about Blake or Gwen, and then read what she actually wrote again. Instead of being bitter or upset by the way her marriage turned out, instead of saying something kind of catty that we would all secretly empathize with, she's focusing on being grateful for the amazing things she's been able to do in her career. And that's damn admirable.
You'll get yours, Miranda, believe that. But until then, it seems like you're pretty good, not to mention pretty spectacular, on your own.Tmz
