This Beauty Trick Will Help You Get Rid of Raccoon Eyes

Image result for raccoon eyes Frustrated because your makeup won't stay put? We partnered with Clinique to find a beauty trick that will solve this annoying dilemma.

How many times have you applied your eye makeup perfectly only to sweat and have it messily smear onto your skin and underneath your eyes? Fortunately there is a trick for keeping your mascara where it belongs — on your eyelashes. Find out the trick up ahead.

1Start with a translucent eye shadow
Start with a translucent eye shadow
The main trick is to take translucent eye shadow primer and dab it underneath the lash line with a blending brush, then apply a setting powder. This will keep your skin dry so that nothing sticks to it.

2Apply liner strategically
Next, apply Clinique Skinny Stick to the lower lash line only. This doesn't necessarily help with keeping makeup in place, but you'll get a great defined eye this way.

3Mascara should be applied to the lower lashes first
Smeared raccoon eyes typically happen when you apply mascara to the top lashes first, so apply Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascara to the bottom first.

4All set
Your smudge-free makeup is all set and ready to go.
