Stockholm-based app developer Filimundus made the switch a year ago, and haven't seen a drop in productivity. "In order to cope [with an eight-hour day], we mix in things and pauses to make the workday more endurable," says CEO Linus Feldt. "My impression now is that it is easier to focus more intensely on the work that needs to be done and you have the stamina to do it and still have energy left when leaving the office."
Tech startup Brath switched to six-hour days three years ago, and credits the change as a way to hire and retain employees.apartmentherapy
