Pitch Perfect 3 Gets A Release Date (Start Warming Up)

The Bellas are back, baby! Well, okay, maybe not quite yet. Our favorite ladies-only a capella group is returning to the big screen on August 4, 2017, in Pitch Perfect 3

. Actresses Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, and Brittany Snow are set to return with their killer vocals and comedic chops for round three of of the beloved musical franchise.


Kay Cannon will again write the screenplay for the next installment of the sleeper-hit-cum-box-office titan. Elizabeth Banks, who directed this summer's Pitch Perfect sequel, is set to co-produce. Pitch Perfect 2 kicked ass on its opening weekend in May, scoring the top spot with a $69 million dollar opening weekend. It went on to gross $285 million. August is often a stagnant month at the box office, so luckily for Universal, the Barden Bellas will surely heat up the field.refinery29
