Footage shows Batmobile in middle of luxury car fleet park in Dubai

It cost a whopping £650,000 but that didn't stop a big time Batman fan from snapping up the vehicle of his dreams.

This footage shows the Batmobile which has been registered to be driven on the roads thanks to special permission from the police parked up alongside a selection of expensive vehicles, including Rolls Royces, Ferraris and Aston Martins.According to reports the car which mimics the vehicle used in the 2005 film Batman Begins as well as The Dark Knight in 2008 and The Dark Knight Rises in 2012 is one of the fastest vehicles on the road.

Powered by a Chevrolet Corvette v8 5.7 litre petrol engine , it is said to produce over 500 horsepower, goes from 0-62 miles in less than 6 seconds and can hit 150 miles an hour - if you dare.The car is said to weigh more than two tonnes and measures 4.57 metres high and 2.84 metres across.

And for those who like to add a spot of theatre to their daily commute it has a 'jet engine' consisting of propane tanks which shoot out flames.
