Beyonce Sings Prince-Inspired Tribute to Nicki Minaj

Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj shared the Barclays Center stage October 20th to perform "Feeling Myself" at the Tidal X: 1020 event,
and now the singer has dropped a pair of behind-the-scenes clips of her and the rapper from the Brooklyn mega concert. In the first clip, Beyoncé interpolates "Darling Nikki" by fellow Tidal signee Prince and transforms it into "Darling Nicki (Minaj)."

"I met a girl named Nicki / I guess you can say she was the rap queen," Beyoncé sings on her version of the Purple Rain cut. "I met her in the studio lobby but her booty looked bigger in the magazines / She said 'B, would you jump on this song of mine?' / How could I resist when I heard little Nicki rhyme."

Beyoncé also posted a video of her and Minaj choreographing an "ice grill" showdown, a staring contest of sorts. Beyoncé won the best-of-three during rehearsals, but who won on the Barclays stage? Check out the Tidal X: 1020 concert at the streaming service to see the victor.rollingstone
