Matt Damon in the new Bourne film

On Tuesday, photos from the latest Bourne film, set to be released next summer, were released and luckily, they feature Matt Damon flaunting a buff physique going topless on set.
Series producer, Frank Marshall, tweeted the photo, captioning it, "first day of principal photography complete and happy to report, BOURNE is back! #Bourne2016."
Damon, 44, starred in three of the Bourne installments before taking a hiatus as Jeremy Renner made his Bourne debut in 2012's The Bourne Legacy. But, for next year's release, Damon – and his rock hard body – are back in the iconic role. The upcoming Bourne installment isn't the only feature Damon's been working on. In August, the actor spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about his role in The Martian.
"When I first met with the screenwriter, Drew Goddard, he said he wanted this to be a love letter to science so hopefully that's what we've made and hopefully it will be a piece of inspiration to a lot of young people out there," Damon said on PEOPLE's Instagram.
