Viola Davis accepts her award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her role in the ABC series How to Get Away with Murder.
With the much-awaited series "How to Get Away with Murder" expected to return in a few weeks, news about the plot for the upcoming season has been revealed.
It was reported that the second seasonwill include more murder mysteries. Inaddition, it will also delve deeper into
the death of Rebecca, played by Katie Findlay. Meanwhile, themain suspect for the crime is still the show's lead characterAnnalise Keating, played by Viola DavisBesides the murder, the season willalso put light on the relationship ofAnnalise and Bonnie, played by LisaWeil. According to EntertainmentWeekly, despite Bonnie's loyalty toAnnalise, the upcoming season willfinally shed some truth on theirconnection. Creator of the series PeterNowalk hinted that viewers will havethe chance to learn more about howBonnie and Annalise came to be ineach other's lives.
More characters as also expected tojoin the series for season 2. It wasreported that Disney actor Amy Okudawill be playing a recurring role in theseries. She is well known for theYouTube channel "The Guild." She hasalso made appearances in other seriessuch as "The Middle," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," andCaliforniacation." However, details have yet to be released onher role for the upcoming season.
Along with Okuda, Matt Cohen of "Supernatural" will also
be joining the cast. He is expected to play a character namedLevi. He is described as a "sexy working class guy." Hisinvolvement in the lives of the students has yet to be revealed.It was also mentioned that "The Vampire Diaries" actorKendrick Sampson will be making an appearance in the series.There are speculations that his role will be one of the student'slove interest.
