How Kannywood Celebrities Will Celebrate Sallah

kannywoodNext week’s public holiday to mark the Sallah celebration would be worthwhile. While some won’t be available during the festive period, others would be spending the Sallah with friends and family including the visitation to orphanages
. ANTHONY ADA ABRAHAM sought the views of some renowned Kannywood actors and actresses on how they would be spending the Sallah break.

Baballe Hayatu

He’s a multi-dimensional actor who has paid his dues in the industry. Baballe said he would be travelling to Mecca for Hajj during the festive period but stressed emphatically that he loves celebrating Sallah at home with his family and friends because he can easily connect with people he hardly sees. He also explained that he seizes the opportunity to visit his family, loved ones and especially fans. He wishes all his fans, family and friends a wonderful celebration.

Uzee

Uzee is one of the best Kannywood producers cum actors. He has written and produced numerous movies including Dark Closet and is currently working on Red. When asked how he is going to celebrate Sallah, he emphatically stated that he would be spending it on his movie location where he’s shooting the movie Red. He wishes all his fans, friends and family a hitch-free celebration.

 Funkiest Mallam

He’s a well-known face in the industry and said it feels special to witness another Sallah celebration. According to him, he wants to thank the CEO and entire LEADERSHIP Group, especially the entertainment wing ‘barka da sallah’ and for all the support they have given him. “Secondly, I wish to officially, on behalf of Arewa Entertainment, pay my condolence to the family of Soultan Abdull. Arewa has lost a wonderful artiste. May his soul rest in peace. I will like to mark my Sallah with my family if I am not engaged somewhere. Barka da Sallah, Nigeria!” He said.

 Rahma Sadau

She will be spending her Sallah in the Republic of Niger alongside Ali Nuhu for a special show organised by her esteemed fans for two days. She would later return to Nigeria and proceed to Ghana, courtesy her fans. She also said she will be missing the fanfair within the family. She believes, however, that whereever she goes, her fans are able to give her the love she also gets from the family whenever she’s not at home. She’s also giving a shout out to her fans …wishing them a lovely Sallah celebrations and also wishing them whatever they wish themselves. Finally, she wishes President Buhari a blissful sallah celebration, calling on him to continue to fight against corruption. Rahma also said her fans should watch out for her new movie… ‘Mallaka Min Dukiyarki’ …which is her best movie yet.

Zaharaddeen Sani

The actor cum model who has featured in numerous movies said he will be celebrating his Sallah in Minna, Niger State. He will also be performing alongside the Niger State-born actress, Fati Musa aka ‘Macijiya.’ Zaharaddeen explained that he will be missing his family because they will be celebrating it without him while promising that he would make it up to them. He’s wishing them and his fans wonderful celebrations begging his fans to stop patronising pirated movies but buy only original copies so that they can help grow the industry. He urged his fans to watch out for his movie ‘Wata Tafiyar’ which will be out on Sallah day.

Nafisah Abdulahi

She’s an actress cum model who has paid her dues in the industry. She said she’s yet to decide where or how to celebrate her Sallah because for sometimes now she has missed celebrating the period with families and loved ones. She urged Nigerians to be good ambassadors of Peace for national development. Nafisah also want to use the Sallah period to visit orphanages where she could help the less privileged in the society which is what her upcoming pet-project which she has invested her hard-earned money is all about.
